
About The Editors
Dr. Setaka Palaka is currently working as a lecturer at the Department of Economics, Binayak Acharya Government Degree College, Berhampur with over 8 years of teaching and research experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Palaka has completed his Ph.D from Berhampur University. He has published a substantial number of research papers in reputable national and international journals and contributed a book chapter to edited volumes. As a faculty member, he fosters a research-driven environment and continuously encourages innovation and academic integrity in economics-based studies.
Prof (Dr.) Sandhyarani Das Professor Sandhyarani Das is currently serving as Research Professor at GIET University, Gunupur. Prior to this, she retired from the Faculty of Economics, Department of Economics, Berhampur University, in 2021. With a strong academic background, Prof. Das has enjoyed an excellent career in teaching and research for nearly three decades. She has authored four books and published more than 40 highquality research papers in leading national and international journals of repute. She has also authored 25 chapters in books edited by renowned international authors on various aspects of Economics, Commerce, and Management. As of now, 11 research scholars have earned their Ph.D. degree, and 29 have earned their M.Phil. degree under her supervision. Apart from other academic and social engagements, she has been guiding and supervising 5 research scholars who are currently pursuing their Ph.D. degrees.

This book is a humble attempt to analyze theInter – State Analysis of Performance of MSMEs in India. Its coverage is a key link in the socio-economic transformation process of underdeveloped societies. The MSME sector plays a crucial role in providing employment opportunities in both rural and urban areas, offering lower capital costs compared to large industries, reducing regional imbalances, and contributing to national income and wealth. It includes the problems and challenges faced by MSMEs in the country. The focus of this study is to analyze the performance of MSMEs across different states in India.
