Professor Dr. Shaikh Aftab Anwar, M. Com; MBA; Ph.D. (Business Administration) is an educationist, researcher, social activist and a transformational leader. He has more than 30 years of teaching, research, consultancy, executive education and industry experience. He was nominated as Senate Member of Savitribai Phule Pune University by the Governor of Maharashtra. He has served as BOS member, Faculty member, Examination Committee member of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Presently, Dr. Shaikh is working as Principal of Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune -411001(MS).

Dr. Shaikh is also Member of several Educational and Professional Bodies in India and abroad. He has been accorded with several prestigious awards including National Youth Award by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, and Prof. G. B. Kulkarni Award for Best Teacher in Commerce by the University of Pune.

He is Ph.D. and M.Phil. Research Guide of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. 33 students have completed Ph.D. and 16 students have completed M.Phil. under his guidance.

Dr. Shaikh has authored several books and published research papers and articles in refereed National and International Journals and presented papers in international conferences.

As a Social entrepreneur, Dr. Shaikh has established and run the organizations from scratch. He also offers advice to upcoming Educational Institutions and IT Education sector. He is a motivational speaker, Result-focused and effectual leader. He has extensively travelled to countries like China, Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore Oman, UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia), Fiji, Kingdom of Tonga, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Having multifarious achievements Ms.Zeenat Merchant has been declared as a Role Model by the Women’s Activities Portfolio for India and also won the Shreemant Yogi Puraskar for being adjudged the Most Noble Student of Pune City. She is a recipient of Best Teachers Award ,MTC Global Award for Distinguished Teacher 2021 ,MTC Academic Leadership Award 2022, Educator of the Year 2022 Award, Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Education Excellence Award, Young Changemaker Award, Best Author Award, Best Social Worker Award, Modern Freedom Fighters Excellence Award, Indian Woman of Courage Award, Best Researcher Award 2023, People Transforming Nations Awards 2023 and Innovative and Inspiring Educationist Award 2022 from GRF International Awards and Honors, Indonesia .Gold Medalist from the University of Pune, she is presently working as Head, Department of English and Postgraduate Center in Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune. She possesses more than 26 years of experience of Undergraduate and Post Graduate teaching. She is the Editor of two textbooks published by Macmillan and Oxford. She has also topped the SWAYAM Course of the Ministry of Human Resource Development in ‘Enhancing Soft Skills and Personality’ scoring 99% and has excelled in all the AICTE approved and MHRD Faculty Development Programs and Short Term Courses attended by her. She has given several talks on All India Radio and presented papers in National and International Conferences .She also has numerous National and International Publications in reputed books and journals to her credit and is the editor of an International Journal .She is a Member of the International Society for Educational Leadership (ISEL) and a Member of the worldwide Art of Living Foundation.

Jawed Akhtar, is presently working as Assistant Professor of Persian in Poona College, Pune. He completed his MA and M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). His areas of interests include Indo-Persian literature, Persian sources of History & Islamic Studies, Persian/Urdu Poetry and Translation. He has edited, compiled and translated about ten books on various topics and also published a number of research articles. He has also participated in about 20 national, international and state level conferences and seminars and presented a number of research papers. He is currently a member of Bedil International Foundation, New Delhi and BoS Urdu, Persian Arabic of SPPU, Pune.

Dr. Abrar Ahmad, is presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Urdu, Arabic and Persian in Poona College of Arts Science and Commerce, Pune. He completed his MA and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He has to its credit numerous research papers published in reputed Urdu journals. Dr Abrar Ahmad is also author of the book, Intizar Husain ki Afsana Nigari (2020). He has also written children’s stories for numerous magazines.
