About The Editors

Dr. Rajesh Trehan obtained his Ph.D. from Panjab University, Chandigarh; M.Sc., M.Phil. from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and is presently working as Associate Professor of Chemistry at Dr. Y. S. Parmar Govt. P. G. College, Nahan (H.P.). He has over 30 years of teaching and research experience at various premier Govt. institutions and has more than 40 publications in national and international journals of repute.

Dr. Trehan participated in many seminars, conferences, workshops, webinars of national level in various capacities and successfully completed three research projects of DST, CSIR & USAID. He was awarded fellowships of DST & CSIR (JRF, SRF open) in Chemical Sciences and is actively associated with many academic societies, clubs, associations etc. He got professional trainings on various analytical techniques from reputed institutions and preformed numerous administrative and academic duties at college and university level. He is also associated with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and SCERT. His current interests are material sciences, analytical chemistry, skill enhancement in chemistry and environmental sciences.

Ms. Amita Joshi got her master’s from Allahabad University; B.Ed. from HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar and is currently serving as Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, SGGSJ Govt. College, Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. Teaching is her passion and she has fifteen years of teaching experience of undergraduate classes.

Her field of specialization is Organic Chemistry. She has participated in many seminars, conferences and webinars related to new frontiers in chemical sciences. She has successfully organized National Seminar on Food Adulteration and conference on Recent Advances in Chemical Sciences in her college under the Star College Scheme of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. She has interest in Higher education and environmental chemistry. She has successfully done a PG Diploma in environment and sustainable development from IGNOU and is currently pursuing a master’s course in higher education from IGNOU.
